I have been to Cat Island twice and can't wait to return! I stayed at the Fernandez Bay Resort each time. It is a dream spot and the people that live there are wonderful. My understanding is that there is major highway damage (approx. 3 miles of road was washed out) and lots of trees down. Some roofs were blown off and the surge flooded many areas. Pigeon Cay Beach Club is reportedly okay; coflicting reports on Fernandez Bay.
