Karen Ferguson, MC, Port Lucaya

From 1 January 2002 our patrons entered to win a free vacation to The Bahamas, with accommodations, as well as many bonus items - a collection offered by our Sponsors. We offered these prizes to those who entered our contest through December 20, 2002 and provided the correct responses to the contest questions. It was also required that full contact information be provided which would only be used to provide winner notice. A drawing was held on 25 January 2002 at Port Lucaya Gazebo and the winners notified at that time.

Karen reading a prize winner

This year we met with delay in the contest drawing but thanks to the excellent organizational skills of Karen Ferguson the prizes were drawn on 25 January 2003 at 9pm.

The audience performed all drawings. And most of them claimed to be the winners;) But all joking aside we had a good time

We want to express our sincere appreciation to Karen for all her help and managment of the drawing in a purely professional manner in front of the crowd so there can be no misunderstandings about the winners.

This year there were 1115 entries, 804 of them had one or more incorrect answers and 311 had correct answers and were entered into the drawing.

And the Winner IS!!!!!
