The Bahamas Vacation Guide has launched it's own booking engine - Book your Bahamas Vacation While the program is in its infancy, it promises to match users with a favorite method of reviewing options. Primarily focused upon hotels at this time, Book your Bahamas Vacation offers users the choice to search by property, by island or by amenities.

The developers have worked closely with SynXis in procuring special negotiated rates for hotel properties utilizing SynXis for their secure reservations systems. SynXis adds high end booking and management utilities for hoteliers to simplify the process. More importantly it offers guests booking accommodations advanced security and consistency in booking their vacations as well as providing instant confirmation and confirmation numbers while reserving space with the hotel simultaneously.

An advantage of using the Book your Bahamas Vacation booking engine is that neither the guests nor the hotels are charged any fee for participation. Thereby allowing for the best possible rates to prevail.

Bahamas Vacation Guide representatives explained that they offered the booking engine in response to requests by hoteliers for a reasonable booking forum without exorbitant fees. "We were told repeatedly that other booking engines were charging so much for participation that it was difficult at best to include many of the medium sized, but delightful properties available.
